A Book Fair Paragraph for Class 12 & Class 10

A book fair is an amazing fair where different types of books are displayed for show-off and sale. A book fair is usually held in January and February
throughout the country in different places. The biggest book fair “Ekushe Boi Mela” is held in February on the occasion of 21st February. It is organized by Bangla Academy on the Bangla Academy campus and Suhrawardy Uddan. The purpose of a book fair is not mainly for selling books. A book fair helps to develop the publication of books, inspires new writers, and creates interest for books among general people. Books are also sold at a cheaper rate than the usual rate for inspiring people to buy more books. All types of visitors gather at a book fair. Writers, publishers, readers, book lovers, children and many other people come to visit and buy books at a book fair. Usually, the stalls get crowded in the evening. In a book fair, hundreds of stalls are arranged where all types of books are displayed. Academic books, storybooks, fiction books, children’s books, drama books etc. are displayed in different pavilion. The stalls are also decorated creatively and attractively that motivates the visitors. There are also refreshment sections in a book fair, such as seminars and cultural programmes are held. A book fair is a kind of fair where different types of books are displayed for sale. Book fair is now held in every city and town too. It has recently become very popular in our country. People go to the fair to find their desired books. In Bangladesh, a book fair is arranged on the occasion of 21 February, 16 December, 26th March and Bangla New Year. The fair is held in an open place or in auditorium or in a big hall-room. In our country, the largest book fair is held on the premises of Bangla Academy on the occasion of 21st February, All kinds of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children literature, story books etc. are usually available in a book fair. A book fair usually remains crowded. People from all walks of life visit the fair. People who are book lovers come to the fair to buy books and to enjoy the fair. Young boys and girls gather here to find out books of their favourite authors. They buy books to present their near and dear ones and for themselves. From the interest and participation of people, the popularity of book fair in our country can be realised. A book fair bears great importance. Answer:
A book fair is a kind of fair where different types of books are displayed for sale. Nowadays, it has become very popular in our country.  Last month, I visited a book fair. I went there with my elder brother. The fair was arranged on the occasion of 21 February. It was held at the Bangla Academy premises. As it was my first visit to a book fair, I Wwas really surprised when I entered the fair. There were hundreds of stalls in the fair. The environment was really charming. The stalls were arranged systematically. There were information counters. There were also some stalls for taking snacks. My brother took me to the whole area. I saw that all kinds of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation, children literature, story books etc. were available in the fair. I bought some books on science fiction and comics. After walking for a long time, we became tired. So, we entered a food stall and took some light refreshment. Suddenly, I noticed a crowd in front of a stall. I went there and became really surprised seeing my was signing favourite writer Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal. He autographs. I also took an autograph. We also attended a short seminar in the fair in which some renowned personalities of our country delivered speeches on the importance of books in our life. After that we left the fair, but I took with me a lot of pleasant experiences.
